Bi: Notes for a Bisexual Revolution provides insight into contemporary issues for Bisexuals, including feminism and women's issues, and questions of intersectionality with race and ethnicity. There are many good points, including discussions of biphobia, sexualization and fetishization of Bi women, and the question of straight-passing privilege. However, the book also contains some notable weaknesses. The author quotes various works, but does not provide citations for the reader to consult, lowering the quality of this work in the process. Furthermore, although the author refers to their theory as being radical and revolutionary, she does not question all established neoliberal conceptions and institutions, only lightly touching upon Marxist perspectives when challenging the military industrial complex.… (mais)

Shiri Eisner writes clearly and coherently, explaining more complex terms in ways that laypeople can understand. Eisner examines in intersections of biphobia and other isms with clarity and compassion.
