I have chosen this book only becuase of the synopis. It sound good and frankly i do not care that it is a YA book. I am reading the ebook. On the first page of the book, you are told that there is something strange going on, she sees a man standing and the horse shied etc. for the next many pages, it was meeting boyfriend, having sleepover with some friends, going to a party, dont like the party etc. The writing style was that of an 17 year old. yes i am aware it is YA and the character is 17 but that does not mean that a book needs to be written in the style of 16 year old girl. I had to stop reading the book because i felt that after 7% of the book, a bit more should have been introduced and not just boring everyday stuff. I hope it would be good but i will never find out. Maybe my 17 year old daughter likes it. I cant say that i did not like it but the maturity level was definitely not there and there are many YA books that are simply amazing, I honestly dont see why i should be wasting my time with a book i cant get into when there are so many other books await me. I am glad that it gets a lot of good reviews from other readers.
