I liked this book because I think the pictures were interesting and the facts were short and simple for early readers to understand. This was a book that gave simple facts about prey mantises, such as what they eat. I would recommend this book for early primary, possibly kindergarten or preschool.

This book walks the reader through the process of hibernation. It explains the process for a few different animals including bears, groundhogs, frogs, and bats. Genre:non-fiction-informational book
Age Appropriateness:4 - 8 years,preschool-3rd grade
Review:it is a picture book with description why animals needs hibernation, what are some hibernator animals such as bears, bats, groundhogs and chipmunks and how they go through winter. this book is better than the night-time animals, another informational book because it includes glossary, read more and internet sites resources sections at the end of the book. This will enable kids who are interested in the book find more facts about hibernation.

it is an informational book because it inform kids by providing in-depth explanation of one of the natural patterns-higvernation. it is factorial material.
