Trevor A. Harley

Disclaimer: Trevor is a friend from way back. I didn't really know what to expect when I picked up his novel, but it wasn't what I got. What we have here is a black comedy, in which the characters disappear one by one in a variety of inventive ways, appropriate to their misdoings. The narrator, head cook to the tyrannical King of the Castle, is desperately trying to save his skin as he invents ever more wild culinary offerings to satisfy the royal desire for novelty.

Well worth the read (and I'd say that, even if I'd never heard of the author before).… (mais)
