LibraryCin: This one wasn't even on my radar, but someone mailed it to me when I wasn't expecting it. I ended up really enjoying it.

LibraryCin: I'm not a religious person, so I wasn't sure what I would think of this "biblical fiction". But, the story was really good! I was impressed, and have since read a couple more books by the author.

LibraryCin: I'm not always a fan of literary stuff, and a lot of Canadian fiction is literary. I gave this a shot, even though I was afraid it might be too literary for me, and ended up really liking it.

LibraryCin: I'm not always a fan of romance, but I think the dog helped in this one. :-)

LibraryCin: I was looking forward to this one, as it involves a librarian, but this one far exceeded my expectations.

LibraryCin: I like history and I am interested in reading about WWII, but I tend (mostly) more towards biographies of the time period. This one absolutely blew me away!

LibraryCin: Another one that falls into the literary category, as the author has won the Pulitzer. I really liked this one, though.

LibraryCin: I know a lot of people weren't crazy about this one, but I went ahead and read it anyway. I really liked it!

LibraryCin: This book was given to me without me knowing anything about it. It was really good.

LibraryCin: This is another where it was just so long from the time I added it to my tbr to when I read it, that I just couldn't remember even why I added it. It was very good.

LibraryCin: Another Canadian one that I added because of Canada Reads. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it was really good.

LibraryCin: I just really didn't know what to expect with this one. It was the first I'd read by Trigiani, and was very impressed. I've read and enjoyed more by her since.

LibraryCin: I was so impressed with this. I'm not sure why I really didn't expect more - maybe because kids and babies don't interest me - but this was excellent.

LibraryCin: Classics can vary for me, and I went a long time thinking I really didn't like many of them at all. So, I was in my mid-30s by the time I read this. It was the first "classic" I'd read in a very long time, and I really enjoyed it. Went on to enjoy more by Austen after this (this was the first I'd read by her.)

LibraryCin: It was too long ago to remember what my expectations were for this one, but I loved it!

LibraryCin: I really wasn't sure how much I'd like this one, but decided to give it a try. I was very impressed. There is a lot of hockey, but I think there enough other story around it, that even for those who aren't hockey fans, it would still be o.k.
