Perfect for Christmas. I think I'll do that too! (My baby is 29!) Mary Lou
Anne: I just got "Dear Enemy" in the mail this morning. I INHALED it - and just finished a few minutes ago. Thank you for telling me about it's existence. I loved it, as I knew I would. (Any more lovely classic secrets up your sleeve?) Mary Lou
Yeah, maybe she did try to justify her ten year long research by giving us a lot of background information. But at least it was about places where most of us have never been to and will probably never go to. The history and the sights and sounds of Hungary, Bulgaria and Turkey were certainly fascinating. Although I do admit it did make for one long narrative and as I've said my mind did wander from time to time, it was at least interesting. Not like the last book I read which had endless descriptions about the art of paper making, lists of cool punk musicians and cool foods which the arty and cool characters listen to and eat! In all The Historian, although containing a narrative that is a bit dull, was a welcome experience when compared to the last one.
Thank you for participating in my thread. I hope to hear more about the books you are reading in the future.

Hi Anne,

I hope you're going to take a vacation once Breaking Dawn is finished. *grin* You've earned it!

I'm absolutely tickled to meet an NLS narrator, albeit virtually. NLS is an enormous part of my life, and I'm grateful to all the tallented, patient narrators that make it possible. Twilight is the first of your books that I read. But, since my network library, Perkins, has a feature that allows searching by narrator, I'll look for more.

Kerry (Cat)
Thanks very much for your note. And, thanks for your excellent recordings! They are far superior to the commercial ones IMO.

Recording the Twilight series must have been a monumental project. You're a hero!
