Sobre a minha bibliotecaHaere mai. Welcome to my small library.
Mostly I read History, Mysteries, and Science Fiction.
Also, if you like books from the C19th, and/or early last century, you might enjoy browsing my library shelves and meeting up with old friends.
Visitors will need *sigh*, to make allowances for the sad reality that older books often have damaged dustjackets, or no dustjacket at all.
# Some of these books date back to my childhood days, all those long years ago, way back in the middle of last century.
# Two books even come from my parents' 1920s childhood collections.
# The rest have been added over the decades, many bought second-hand.
# All have (somehow) survived occasional fairly ruthless weeding bouts, triggered both by space constraints and by my family's unshakeable and loudly expressed conviction that "Normal people live surrounded by people, and not by decaying piles of woodpulp".

First of all Merry Christmas from a cold and threatening-to-be-snowy England,I hope that all you wish for next year comes to pass.
Secondly, some interesting news. Some of my cousins are now living in a seasside town called Whitstable in Kent. We popped in a few months ago en route home from a book collecting holiday in Sussex. Whitstable is like going back 50 years-no casinos, no in you face stuff just quaint old shops and a harbour and cobbled streets-wonderful!!! More to the point it is next to Herne Bay, so next time we go I am planning on an expedition to retrieve at least some pics of where Will Scott lived in said town!!! Woooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who knows what else may emerge?
Anyway take care-not too much to drink.........
Happy Christmas,
Paul
