Sobre mimI am a person of many interests and hobbies. I have been married for over 23 years now and live in the Florida "Big Bend" region. I have my own website (http://www.nettally.com/saints) which I created from scratch many years ago learning HTML programming and checking the results from a friend's computer because my computer at the time couldn't run Windows. I also have a blog (http://www.anniemayhem.com/cgi-bin/wordp...) as well which covers topics of an eclectic nature. Basically my blog is a creative outlet for me and I tend to write about whatever inspires me at the moment.

Sobre a minha bibliotecaI have been a lifelong reader and collector of books. As a child I was an early reader with a voracious appetite for books. I tended to gravitate towards Louis L'Amour westerns as well as science fiction (sci-fi) and fantasy with some biographies and historical fiction thrown in for good measure (incidentally my favorite book in the fiction category remains "Centennial" by James Michener). I tend to keep most of the books I obtain and as a result I have more books in boxes than on the limited shelf space in my home. My wife is also a voracious reader and incidentally is an adjunct professor of English & Writing at the local community college.

I really enjoyed your web site. I am a Floridian, FSU grad, 25 year resident of Baton Rogue. I've bookmarked your site and will visit the many interesting sites you've linked. As an eternal optimist I'm looking forward to the Saints season. The Noles are expected to be a top 10 competing team as well.
Thanks for adding the cover to The Scotts. Very helpful! I ought to start doing more of that!
From the Christianity, Favorite carols thread . . . I'm sure you've already thought of this, but maybe your local public radio station would be interested in a Christmas Eve show??
I go to Paperback Rack if I'm looking for out-of-print non-fiction hardbacks and to Bookshelf if I'm looking for fiction paperbacks several years old. I've only been in the Goodwill Bookstore on Thomasville one time, but it seemed as though they mostly had current books, mostly paperbacks. And that probably changes week to week.
And greetings to you and your wife. Maybe I should phrase that as "greetings from one book-overload home to another." Just today I went to the Paperback Rack looking for one specific book. Didn't find that one but walked out with six others!
I was amazed by the order and selection. I couldn't resist taking pictures and posting them to the Democrat. There are supposed to be some changes happening to the book section at the Goodwill store on Capital cir. They have moved the books upfront and are supposed to be organizing. I hope to stop in soon and see what has been done. Happy reading!
