Sobre mimI'm a very bored person because I have chronic fatigue syndrome and I sit around the house all day. I do a lot of crossword puzzles. Lately I've been knitting, but I have to limit myself because it exacerbates my RSI.

My undergraduate education was in biology and my masters was in library/information science.

Sobre a minha bibliotecaMy library is fairly large. Data entry is going to be in process for some time to come. It's also weighted toward the crafty end, because I'll buy those books even if I have no immediate use for them.

I saw your comment on SaintSunniva's profile. I think your tag doesn't work b/c LT doesn't like the / mark in tags when searching. A search by"sell" returns all the books you tagged sell/give away, though. :)
I'm visiting after reading your comment on the thread I started about returning the Members with books by this Author feature...I decided to check out your books tagged sell/give away...and it doesn't work anymore, although your other tags do.
As I said, Vienna is full of immigrants, and always has been.
Oh yeah, still interested. Just forgetful. :)

There's a lot of good books on Bookmooch in any binding (hb or pb).
I tried that. It is questioning me for trying to get to that site.
Nicky is thirteen and slowly fading away which makes me sad. Sky, Baxter and Oliver Fox are all about five. Two of them were from the Humane Society and they were not sure about their ages. Sky belongs to my son and he got her at a football game when she was a tiny kitten. Nicky was also from the Humane Society.

Rudy is from a shelter and my daughter got him for me on mother's day three years ago. I could write reams about him. His is the funniest cat in a lifetime of cats and he talks to me almost constantly. There are some photos on my blog of my cats but not on the front page as I haven't gotten any lately. I usually have my husband take the photos lately as I am hopeless with a camera.
We have five - Nicky, Sky, Baxter, Rudy and Oliver Fox. How about you?
Unfortunately I don't cook much any more either. I went to culinary school and I love to cook but the fibromyalgia keeps me from most things most days. I sold hundreds of books about fifteen years ago and then I ended up replacing almost all of them so I never get rid of books any more. Having said that I need to weed out some of my cookbooks just because I am running out of space. Although my son is looking for a house and when he finally finds one I will have a whole room to put shelves in. If you see anything I have you can ask about swapping but I generally am going to hang onto them - at least until the book burners take over.

Cheers.
Now I have been looking at your library, which I should not, because you have quite a few books I would like to investigate. My husband will kill me.
I am always reading. I usually have 25-30 books in various stages of being read. Sometimes I have to start over. My reading tends to grow exponentially, especially non-fiction. I have started my sock and there is a photo on my blog. It is far easier than it looked but I found a book yesterday that shows you how to knit both socks at once. It uses circular needles.

At the moment I am reading about Dunkirk, Queen Elizabeth I, dreams and several novels. That is the active pile. Also at Halloween I dip into my vampire stories and ghost stories just to get in the mood of the season. I love Halloween.
I am about to start my first sock as well. The idea of that many needles terrifies me. I have knit just about every thing but socks. We shall see. Good luck on yours.
My brain doesn't work as well either. It drives me nuts. My arthritis is getting worse also and doing anything with my hands can be difficult. One of the reasons I don't get as much quilting done as I would like. I cannot stand for more than a few minutes. I haven't been able to work for the last several years which makes our financial situation not so great. I am not depressed however and I know what that is like. It would be very easy to get depressed in our situations but I am working hard not to. I am only 57 and I had planned things quite a bit differently. We know about the best laid plans.

Here's hoping you have some better days ahead.
