Sobre mimI started reading when I was 3...and have been addicted ever since. I loved being able to read and sound things out and was almost murdered by my family when I was around 5 I read everything around me...out loud. It didn't matter what it was road signs, boxes, windows...really I am lucky to still be alive. *lol*

If you have nothing nice to say about her please, just don't next time.
Please to respond to this, I would LOVE to hear your response.
I want to be a lawyer when I grow up, and would love to discuss this with you.

PS. If you think Jane Yolen "talks down" to her children audiences you have another think coming.

Sorry, but I just got back on the site 3-1, a little late for Santa. But for what it's worth my favorite Sayers is "The Nine Tailors".

She also did a series of four books that aren't really marketed as a series but almost have to be read in order: Strong Poison, Have His Carcase, Gaudy Night, and Busman's Honeymoon. They are excellent (my personal favorites), but I mostly mention them so that you don't get one of the later ones for someone who hasn't read the earlier ones.
