I plan to do the fifty book challenge this year! I also intend to (finally)start writing proper reviews this year, so I have been lagging on starting anything.

Looking Glass Wars (book 2)is still high on my list...I hadn't realized that they were putting it in graphic novel format!!! Definitely added to my TBR list!

off to sign up for this year's challenge...
Hi Rhinoa,

Was tickled to see your review of The Divine Comedy. Your words were the exact same I would say if I were going to review this blankety-blank book. I'm not finished yet and am only reading to say that I could do it but I hope no one asks me any questions on it. Thanks again. At least I know I'm not stupid. Margie
True Blood is on HBO, Sundays at 9! I hope you get a chance to catch it!
where do you keep all your books, woman? b keeps remarking on how i have so many books but really my collection is paltry compared to yours ;)
ooh...I love your library!
Thanks! I'm glad you liked my review.
94! That is a large amount considering your library dwarfs mine! You will have to tell me how the third Mercy Thompson book is, although I have a feeling it will be good...
I will work on those reviews!
i love your name - i absolutely love FF!

cheer,
mary
Hello,

I was just reading your review of Chocolat, and I wanted to let you know that Joanne Harris has written a sequel for it. It is called The Lollipop Shoes, and I quite enjoyed it! (You might already know this, but just thought I'd pass it along all the same.)

Cheers,
Carmen
Hi, I noticed we had several of the same books listed (though you have SO many more listed than I do LOL) so I added you to my friends. I hope that is OK. I am also undertaking the 50 book challenge- good luck to both of us!
Hello, Just found you library and noticed we have several in common, I would love to add you name to my friends list=o)

Hey Rhinoa, Just found you on here! You have a great library...tons that are on my TBR pile and tons that no doubt will eventually be on it. I'd love to see your shelves! You must have a whole room for books alone ;)
Yay for Harry Potter reviews!

My favorite Final Fantasies are VI and IX, I think. I could tell you liked VIII from your screen name! =)

Good luck with your TBR list! Looks like you have lots of awesome books awaiting you.
I'd love that, yes! Thanks so much! Sorry for taking a while to reply, I hadn't actually logged in in a while.
Congratulations! Your review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was one of the fifty prize winners. See the blog post announcing the winners. You've won a gift membership and a CueCat barcode scanner.

Send an email to info@librarything.com to claim your prize. Include your user name on LibraryThing, as well as your mailing address (so we can send out the CueCat!).
i started reading the celtic fairy tales a while back and then stopped. i do that sometimes and not necessarily because a book is bad. i just move on to other things and forget about some i've started. when i finish it i'll let you know. thanks for the comment. i really need to learn more about how to use this library thing.
Hi there,

Thank you so much for your nice comments and the interesting library tag! Apologies for not replying sooner but I've been swamped with final year coursework. The Wicca series is perhaps my favourite YA series so I hope you enjoy them, I'd rate them higher than the Balefire ones actually. I've been meaning to update my library thing account for ages so I really will have to get on top of that!

My book is a paranormal-police procedural, set in San Francisco. Hope to chat with you again. It appears aside from our shared interest in reading material that we share an interest in cats too.

Best,
Rachel
Re: Lamb - I liked Lamb so much that I immediately went out and bought just about everything else he wrote. I'm reading Fluke now, and having just as much fun with it.
I just read your HP review- I don't suppose your local Waterstones was in the Angel? If so, I was one of the manic ones in cloaks, hi! My favourite character was Remus, I don't know if that's who you meant, but that really stung, she didn't say anything about how he died, even.
Hi! I'm adding you to my list. I'm so late to LT.
Good morning, barely. I need to pull away from the computer and start on my errands before it gets much later. I love it when I have a Friday off . . . It's easy to be lazy. You aren't too far from me with your yet to be read books. I keep hoping my husband will avoid visiting Library Thing just so he won't really know the actual number of books I have that fall into that category. It's one thing to see them all in one room, another to see the actual count. :-)
That's probably because you have a lifetime account :) I intend to get one as soon as I apply for a credit card!
Welcome to Books Compared. We have a lot of books in common. Hope you'll contribute a comparison review soon.
We obviously both have fantastic taste! :)
omg! You have a library at your house just for the unread ones! You read a lot of interesting books. I must browse for ones that I have never heard of before. :)
Moon Garden is really an under appreciated book
hi I enjoyed the Long Woman and its Celtic undertones. I see Kevan regularly at the Bath Story telling circle as I also do story telling. I see you are in the 50 book challenge as well. I had to join it as finding the books, writing and talking about them and cataloguing them meant I wasn't reading them!
