Dearest Patrick. I loved The Name of the Wind..to the extent that I bought everyone I knew a copy for Christmas two years ago and demanded a report. I've been trying like mad to get my hands on the second book that reportedly came out in 2008 and am very nearly about to lose my mind as my book-hunger rages unassuaged. Could you help? Where can I buy your book? Is it really out there or are they playing with my mind? Please don't stop writing. I nearly cried when I finished the book just because it was over and I was enjoying it so much.

I just finished reading "The name of the wind". I enjoyed it a lot! In the bookshop (in Ireland) they said the next book would come in February 2010. Good luck with writing :)

Any chance of getting an ARC PDF? (that's an advance reader copy e-book). I'm a fan of course, but I also proof (and supposedly I'm an aspiring writer with recurring writer's block).

Hey Patrick, we over in the Green Dragon are having a group read of you book and thought it would be great if you came over and said hi to all of us and join in with any thoughts from your perspective if you feel up to it. I read "The Name of the Wind" and I really liked it!! I think you did a really great job of building your story, you've made your characters really enjoyable...I can't wait for your next book...
