Sobre mimI am 25 years old and have spent 17 of those years in libraries. (I have volunteered in one since I was 8 and have worked in one or another since I was 16.) I (very) briefly attended law school before promptly deciding that I liked the philosophy of law rather than the actual practice. So, I abandoned my legal studies to pursue something that I already knew I loved (both philosophically and practically). I am now 90% finished with my MLIS and couldn't be happier. (Well, maybe I'll be happier when that number reaches 100%.)
Sobre a minha bibliotecaI have a pretty eclectic library. I will read almost anything from philosophy to comic books. Though I must admit I am unduly prejudiced against any books with predominantly pink covers.

I'm glad that you received your books, and it sounds like you were pleased with what I chose for you (if not, I guess there's always BookMooch :)) I went ahead and mooched a copy of Briar Rose for myself because I was so intrigued. I hope that you enjoy your books, and that you have a wonderful holiday.
You're a fantastic BM Angel - thank you!

If you don't mind, please wait until the new year. It's not that I absolutely need to read that book, it's just that she might still come through, and visiting the post office anytime before January 5th, if you don't really have, to would just be silly. If you don't mind hanging onto it even longer, I'll look for another replacement Angel Mooch that you can get for me!
Happy Holidays,
Michelle

Thanks so much for your note. Please hang onto the one book until the other one arrives. My TBR pile is now a room :)
Thanks for inquiring, though!

Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked The Wasp Factory, and I thought you might like my novel since it's also about a disturbed adolescent and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

I just finished A Clockwork Orange recently and many of Alex's words and phrases are stuck in my head. For example, at breakfast I'm thinking of "jammywam and eggiweggs" (excuse the spelling) before going out to meet some "droogies" for lunch and everything is "horrorshow". It is amazing how quickly you get used to Burgess' language and your reading just flows normally. I was very impressed by this book. I see you rated it 4 stars, I'd probably give it 4.5.
You've rated Hater 5 stars - is this book from the 1001 list?
