Sobre mimI am 25 years old and have spent 17 of those years in libraries. (I have volunteered in one since I was 8 and have worked in one or another since I was 16.) I (very) briefly attended law school before promptly deciding that I liked the philosophy of law rather than the actual practice. So, I abandoned my legal studies to pursue something that I already knew I loved (both philosophically and practically). I am now 90% finished with my MLIS and couldn't be happier. (Well, maybe I'll be happier when that number reaches 100%.)

Sobre a minha bibliotecaI have a pretty eclectic library. I will read almost anything from philosophy to comic books. Though I must admit I am unduly prejudiced against any books with predominantly pink covers.

I am fine with the condition of Men of Mathematics. Thanks for inquiring! And thanks for Angeling, too!!
Hi Sylvia,
I'm glad that you received your books, and it sounds like you were pleased with what I chose for you (if not, I guess there's always BookMooch :)) I went ahead and mooched a copy of Briar Rose for myself because I was so intrigued. I hope that you enjoy your books, and that you have a wonderful holiday.

You're a fantastic BM Angel - thank you!

Michelle
It was predators Gold not city and I have mooched it too. No condition notes though. I'll let you know when it arrives.
sarah
the owner has offered the sequel as well predators city, do you want me to mooch that too? sorry for typos etc, my baby is on my lap.
Hi Sylvia,
If you don't mind, please wait until the new year. It's not that I absolutely need to read that book, it's just that she might still come through, and visiting the post office anytime before January 5th, if you don't really have, to would just be silly. If you don't mind hanging onto it even longer, I'll look for another replacement Angel Mooch that you can get for me!

Happy Holidays,
Michelle
Go ahead and mooch Papa Sartre from me. I cannot reserve it for you because it says "Sylvia (USA: PA)" is not a member! It wants to send my book to a Sylvia in Singapore. I'll keep it until I hear from you.

Oops! Thanks for letting me know so I could fix it quickly!

Sara
Hi Sylvia,
Thanks so much for your note. Please hang onto the one book until the other one arrives. My TBR pile is now a room :)

Thanks for inquiring, though!

Michelle
Hey Sylvia,
Re: the Dunmore book - thanks so much for the update :)
Talk to you soon,
Michelle
Thanks so much Sylvia, for the angel mooch, and for letting me know that it has been accepted. Yay!

Have a great day,
Michelle
Hope you don't mind that I've put in a friend request for you. It just helps me to keep everyone (and all of the Angel Mooches) straight :)
Michelle
Hello,
Just a brief note to remind you that "Attic" is for me.

Thank you again - you've made my day :)
Michelle
Desolation Road has arrived and is ready for mooching. The book is in quite good condition -- doesn't look like it's ever been read. You'll find it here: http://www.bookmooch.com/m/detail/055327...

Thank you very much for being an angel, literally!
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!
Thank you for letting me know, Sylvia, you're a star!
Thanks so much for angeling the book for me, I really, really, appreciate it! Tiare. x
I'd be willing to mooch the Tomato book from you, if available. :)
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for your comment!

Isn't "aubergine" a beautiful word? It should be everyone's word for the day!
Hi,

Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked The Wasp Factory, and I thought you might like my novel since it's also about a disturbed adolescent and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

You had a glossary! The introduction in the edition I read revealed a few words but for the most part it was pure guesswork on my part. Stanley Kubrick didn't like Burgess' ending either. His movie version finished at the end of section two.
Hi!

I just finished A Clockwork Orange recently and many of Alex's words and phrases are stuck in my head. For example, at breakfast I'm thinking of "jammywam and eggiweggs" (excuse the spelling) before going out to meet some "droogies" for lunch and everything is "horrorshow". It is amazing how quickly you get used to Burgess' language and your reading just flows normally. I was very impressed by this book. I see you rated it 4 stars, I'd probably give it 4.5.

You've rated Hater 5 stars - is this book from the 1001 list?
Hello! Was that kitten in the bookdrop okay?
