Sobre mimI will pretty much read anything if it stands still long enough.

Sobre a minha bibliotecaThis list will eventually include everything that my husband and I have at our house. I still have quite a few bookcases to go through. A large chunk of our library is fantasy/sci-fi. We also have a large number of science books and textbooks.

Hi

I am completely new to this site. Is it ok to book swap with members? I am wanting to purchase Marie Louise Von Franz, Alchemical Active Imagination. (revised Edition). If you are willing to book swap then I offer the following two books to you in exchange for the one Von Franz text:

Book Title: The Gnostic Jung and the Seven Sermons to the Dead
Author: Stephan A. Hoeller

Book Title: Jung and the Story of our Time
Author: Laurens Van Der Post

Best Wishes

Paul Budding
"We belong to Mother Earth"
(An historic address given by
Chief Seattle)

Teach your children what we have taught our children:
that the earth is our true mother.
Whatever happens to the earth, happens to the children of the earth.
If people spit on the ground, they spit on themselves.
We know:
the earth does not belong to people, but people belong to the earth.
We know:
everything is joined together in some way, like the blood that runs through a family.
Whatever happens to the earth, happens to the children of the earth.
We did not weave the web of life; we are just a strand in it.
Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.
Nice profile picture=)
*adds interesting library*
You're right about the lag time between books. I actually started reading them after they had all come out, except Feast for Crows, but by the time I finished Storm of Swords, Feast for Crows was already out. I'm planning to read it next month just in time -- fingers crossed -- to transition into A Dance with Dragons. If you're interested in following Martin, you might subscribe to his blog for the latest updates. http://grrm.livejournal.com/

I've always wanted to be an archivist. *swoon* Your icon here is hilarious. Do you mind if I add you to my f-list at LiveJournal?
Always nice to find other fans of Martin. I still have A Feast for Crows left to read in ASOIF. How did you like it?

And of course, you have to love Tolkien.

Thanks for the nice comment. I'm glad to see somebody's looking at my comments! I'm always updating them as I read, so there's new ones every week or two.
I appreciate your profile picture. Saved.
Always good to hear from another cube-geek!
