Sobre mimI'm a recent college grad, with a double major in English lit and Social Science. I still have very little money (ah, student loans...) and my tiny bit of spending money does usually go toward books. I'm getting over my aversion to "classics" and "Literature" for pleasure...and discovering a liking for such genres as Chick Lit and Mystery in the process. I still hate Moby-Dick.

Sobre a minha bibliotecaMy library is mostly fiction, and that's mainly fantasy. There's a decent amount of classics and Literature, too, as well as a lot of manga and children's books. I like fluff, for when my studying turns my brains to mush.

Noticed you liked Trainspotting, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reading my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). Thought you might like my novel since it's also about a group of disturbed kids and a bit dark (like Trainspotting). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

I love your library! Looks like we have a lot of similar interests in reading material. I read a lot of fluff as well, from many years of frying my brains in textbooks and heavy literature!
I suddenly understand what it feels like to be short. my tiny little library. I knew you had alot, but 1000 books? holy crap!
I thought perhaps it was in the book Renaissance Faire and I just can't seem to find my copy. I saw that you have it in your library. The more I think about it, the more I'm beginning to think it was just a really vivid dream. I play enough faires...it wouldn't be the first dream I had with that theme.
Hey there, I came across your review for "Hard Day's Knight" while trying to come up with the title of a book that I read but don't remember.... I thought you might've read it. It's set in the Renaissance around a joust. The main girl is very witty and outspoken. She's not afraid to do or say anything. Which gets her into a bit of trouble. She ends up in a tent with one of the knights.... She escapes but I don't remember how. Does this ring any bells or did I just make it up on my own? (LOL)
