Hi,

I was looking at your library because I was curious about the libraries of other people who have books by Kathleen Alcala. I've had her books for quite a while and sadly never gotten to read them; but I just added them to my LibraryThing library.

I am blown away by the contents of your library. That is one unusual library! All those books about life in other lands, about women, by female authors. It's just a beautiful library! I'm curious - what got you started buying those sorts of books? How do you go about finding them? Have you been able to read a lot of them? It's so many books - I suppose many are unread. But what a treasure that collection is. It's simply awesome.

My copy shows copyright 1999 and then, below the Center for International Studies info, I've got a '03 02 01 00' and '5 4 3 2'. Hope that helps!
