GruposRomance - from historical to contemporary

Sobre mimLike others, I'm an avid, rabid fan of all genres of romance. I've been reading and collecting for years now.
I love to talk about the whole genre and I've found my own personal forum on my blog. I'd love to have you all grab a coffee and come and visit and discuss romance books and what makes them so wonderful

Sobre a minha bibliotecaAh - my library! My newest pride and joy is a real 'library' I built in a room downstairs. I wish I could post pictures! I have built shelves on every wall and it really is wall to wall books! I have a collection of over 2,100 - and now they are all at my finger tips!

The Summer Day

Who made the world?
Who made the swan, and the black bear?
Who made the grasshopper?
This grasshopper, I mean--
the one who has flung herself out of the grass,
the one who is eating sugar out of my hand,
who is moving her jaws back and forth instead of up and down,
who is gazing around with her enormous and complicated eyes.
Now she lifts her pale forearms and thoroughly washes her face.
Now she snaps her wings open, and floats away.

I don't know exactly what a prayer is.
I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down
into the grass, how to kneel down in the grass,
how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields,
which is what I have been doing all day.
Tell me, what else should I have done?
Doesn't everything die at last, and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?

Kristie, hope you don't mind, I'm adding you to my interesting libraries list, your collection is great!
Kristie, read you had a love of HH, me too, I have recently branched out a bit to include paranormal and a few others. Just wanted to stop by and say hi to a fellow historial reader. We have 67 in common and most are HH, cool

I love your picture, beautiful.

I'm posting this because you have a Joy Nash book in your library. I'm part of Joy Nash's 50 Books in 50 Days contest, giving away a copy of the latest book in The Immortals series. Stop by my blog to enter!

Thank you for rating your books. Tremendously helpful. I am working on rating books as well (Though much of my catalog is dedicated to my TO BE READ bargain books)
Squee! Romance rules :)
Hey, again, Kristie - I love the tagging, so I've gotten pretty specific about it. :) Thanks for the tips. I have added a couple of old category romance covers LT didn't have. I just don't like that bare space where a cover should be. As for having written more reviews, well, I didn't really "write" them for LT. I just copied the webpage address for reviews I'd already written on my blog or for AAR. Kind of cheating, but it makes my reviews number more impressive. ;)
Hey, Kristie! I just started entering my books here, but I'm really enjoying it. I'm sort of addicted to tagging. :)
Hi, Kristie! Thanks for being my LibraryThing friend, and thanks for reading my books too! I really appreciate that. So glad you enjoyed them. I see we have lots of books in common on our shelves. I need to add the latest Harry Potter book to mine -- I rebelled from my deadline this weekend and read it instead of working . I hope you have a fun week!

Lisa :)
Yeah, I've seen Mary McBride's HH's before, just haven't gotten any. And I have read Patricia Potter - just none of her westerns! Shocking, I know!
Renee! Yes - you did find me *g*. This isn't all the books I have either! I have a lot more, but many of them are so old there aren't any pictures so it's taking longer to add them.
Hi Kristie,

I found you! Wow, you have a lot of books
Hi back at you Kelley899 - *wink*.
