Sobre mimI'm pursuing the New Lifetime Reading Plan. To date, I've read (or listened to) 2/3rds of the authors in the plan. I listen to audiobooks while running, cycling, and driving my son to school.
Sobre a minha bibliotecaI have every Reader's Digest Condensed Book. I don't think I've read any of them. :)I only read unabridged versions of books !!

I'm somewhere in the 60 range, or perhaps about 75 if I consider finishing only one work (for an author with multiple works).
I've been at it for about 5 years. If it weren't for commuting time and audiobooks, I would be at perhaps 10 or 20 finished. I really scrounge for audiobooks and even did a significant portion of War & Peace in unabridged audio. Ulysses would have been impossible without relying on audio. The last section by Molly is incomprehensible; but when read, it becomes a simple monologue.
My favorites? Most of them: Homer, Dante, Chaucer, Cervantes, Voltaire, Fielding, Darwin, Gogol, Poe, Turgenev, Tolstoy (he's got some great short stories too!), Twain, Joyce, Faulkner, Orwell, Camus, Achebe.
(And BTW, where the hell is Bulgakov on this list? Master & Margarita is a favorite.)
I wasn't too keen on Woolf, Confucius, Marcus Aurelius, Sei Shonagon, Bunyan, Basho, Boswell, Austen, Trollope, Hawthorne, Lawrence.
My nemesis is Herodotus; I just can't get through it, (even though I was able to do the Bible, which I consider similar in style). I've given up on Garcia Marquez.
Are you doing it chronologically? I obviously am not. If I were, I'd have some more Euripedes to read.
