Sobre a minha bibliotecaThank you, LT! Since 1983 (and my son was learning to program a TRS-80) I've wanted a searchable and tag-able database of my library. And now the smart-phone accessible version is a huge bonus. Between that and my (in-phone) wish list, I'm no longer puzzled and aphasic, wandering aimlessly through the bookstore. I still bring home duplicates, however, but now on purpose - books my spouse can mark up, so I can keep "my copy" clean.
All our books have been entered, and the next phase is to clean up my entries, tag by tag, then on to entering reviews.
Over the years I have collected, bought, adopted and gleaned. Unfortunately, occasioned by household relocations, I have also relinquished (to my permanent regret).
Incredibly, a late second marriage not only joined us in mutual support, but one of the unexpected blessings was a hand-in-glove fit of our libraries and book interests.
There's "hers," "his" and "ours." Scotland on one end, sailing on the other, and a lot of philosophy in between.
It's a roomful of friends. The most pleasant wallpaper and wall art. It is the wealth of kings' gold and the comfort of raspberry tea. Life would be so shabby and bare without a library.
Welcome to our library; take a comfy chair. May I bring you a cup of tea or a glass of single-malt?

I'm curious if the book "to be a king" the novel about marlowe is any good. also does it touch on the shakespeare authorship thingy? thanks, and thanks for your post to our new authorship group.

I will probably start reading Marsh after I finish all my Agatha Christie's.

I saw a comment you posted about Ngaio Marsh's books. I love Agatha Christie and have recently begun to collect all of Marsh's books to read them someday soon. I'm still finishing up Christie's works, as well as reading all the other books that catch my eye.
Do you highly recommend Marsh? I hardly ever hear people mention her, and when they do, they compare her to Christie. Do you think I should try to read them in order?
Thanks for your advice,
Angela

Like you, I am working around my library and I still have a lot of material to add. I would estimate I have done between half and 2/3 of my books as of yet.
