Sobre mimI'm a college student, currently studying German and History. Home is in Dallas, but I now spend three-quarters of the year here in exotic Western Massachusetts.

Sobre a minha bibliotecaSuffice to say, my taste in books is eclectic, with Catholic theology sitting next to feminist novels. There's religion, history, literature both classic and modern, poetry, and a lot of German stuff due to school.

You have a *very* cool library!
Hi Jennifer,

I see that you recently added "East of the Sun'. I read it last month and I'm very curious on your take on the novel. Let me know when you read it!!

Jennifer -- The Gentlewomen arrived today. Thanks so much for sending it -- Jane
So, Jennifer! I haven't studied German since high school (grad. 1967!) but want to start reading some good, but popular (no heavy duty classics) fiction in both English and German. Do you have any suggestions?

Bonnie
Just to let you know that I posted Cousin Rosamund today. From UK, via airmail- hope it gets to you in good time!

Thanks --I'll be watching for it!
Hallo Inge! You can PM me an email or street address and I'll send you the missing page. Tschuss.- A
Oh, to the rescue! I saw you entered some books for Yeats. Hooray.
Thanks for the info on copyright of photos. I'll do my best to get permission and learn how credit the photos I upload.

inge87,
I had a question about your quarentine critera because you quarentined my photo of Flannery O'conner & Walker Percy. I took an original photo of an open book & several of my books together. The books had a photo of the author. But it is an original photograph, only one photo of its kind. I do not see it as any different than posting the thousands of book covers we see on LibraryThing. Are not all the bookcovers copyrighted? What if I post a bookcover for the author's photo, will you quarentine that?

Sincerely, Jonathan

KingRat flagged for this reason: nice try. it's still a derivative work of a copyrighted work, which means you need permission.

lilithcat flagged for this reason: A photo of a copyrighted photo is still a copyright violation.

inge87 flagged for this reason: agree
Inge, I just noticed that there's a faulty tag closure for your photo of Ethel Smythe. Just a heads up so you can fix it.
