oh, i haven't been on here in ages...yeah, odd coincidence, no?
And, yay, it's no longer just Foucault!
Seeing all the Humboldt books - have you read The Humboldt Current? It's pretty good!
I think Cryptonomicon and Rights of Man go nicely together, and I'm glad you agree.
Hi. You have Belinda too! What a coincidence.
We share some pretty good stuff and I found good recommendations in your catalog. Glad to see you in the LibraryThing Coffeehouse group, by the way.
ONE book in common - AND it's Foucault. I don't get it either!
I haven't read it in ages, but I do recall finding it difficult to read on many levels (had no handy Scottish-to-English dictionary handy but I finally it all out, and then there was the squeamish factor of some scenes) but really enjoyable and smart/well-done overall.
Hi Julie! What did you think of Trainspotting?
I see we share a lot of books! English grad school geeks must share similar tastes. :)
Oh yes, Bachelard is my new best friend right now.
I just added another Blake -- I can't believe it's taken me this long to get Bentley's biography of him.

And I see we share Bachelard...
You rock, too, Julie!
We'll have more books in common when I finally get them all entered.

Look, there's lucytartan in your "similar libraries" sidebar. Hi Lucy!
It's always great to hear from another Stauntonian :-D
