Sobre mim Student in international political development and mother of a beautiful little girl...I enjoy,embrace and flaunt my inner geek. Reading IS power. Knowledge is more than a pastime...it's a lifestyle.

Sobre a minha biblioteca Politics (both empirical and theoretical),development literature and theory, existentialist thought, absurdist, fringe central European literature, 19th century and early 20th century literature mostly, symbolist and surrealist manifestos (haha), some contemporary lit, though mostly of the international variety. Will give anything a shot-the stranger the better! I like to own rather than rent books...I've a penchant for post-it tabbing favorite passages etc. My library is a compulsion-I can't walk by bookstores without going in and am then lost for hours...I suppose one could hae worse compulsive purchasing habits, though I may one day be the woman with no home yet a fabulous storage cubicle full of books! haha. I can't seem to import my facebook library into here (which is where I started e-library type applications) so I will be slowly, manually adding my 'shelf'.
