Noticed you liked The God of Small Things, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a grief-stricken family. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter)in case you'd like to read more about the novel before you commit:

olá. tentei pôr aqui uma mensagem quando te adicionei mas não consegui. esperemos que agora corra melhor. de qualquer modo era apenas para te recordar o nosso conhecimento antigo do livejournal e para dizer que gostei muito de visitar a tua biblioteca.
um abraço
I noticed that you also have People Who Say Goodbye by P.Y. Betts. I like this memoir very much but haven't been able to find anything else she wrote or more about her other than what is on the book jacket. I ws curious to know how you learned about the book.
Hi Kieren,

sorry about the great delay (over a year?!) in responding to your invite to the folio group. I had entered my free 200 books then left librarything alone for a while as I evaluated a number of other packages - only just returned! I still have a few thousand books to list (including a lot more Folio items)and really look forward to the group.

Hi! Hope you don't mind me asking a question. I notice that you are a member both of Folio Society devotees, and the Everyman's library group. I have a couple of Everyman's and they are very nice, and seem to be much more within my price range than the Folio Society (ie. I could get a lot more books for my money). My question is this: do you have a preference for one or the other? What is the difference between the two? I want to gradually replace my paperbacks with hardcovers (paperbacks are getting tatty), and I'd really like to know your opinion on which way to go (or both?). Thanks.
Thanks for the invite, sorry I was slow to respond!
Hello Kieren,

Thanks for the invitation!

Abraços,

Werner
Hi kieren,

Thanks for the invitation for the Lit in Port group.

Cheers,

Cesar
Thanks for replying!

Cisco is actually from Evora (he's there now, we're on holiday) Anything happening right now he should know about? (he's very, very bored)

I feel your father's pain :)
Thanks for joining Blur(b).
I'm guessing British expat in Evora :)
