hello pw0327!

my apologies for not replying sooner. i bought Plato's Ghost recently, and have not yet found time to read it. it looks fascinating though. i majored in math in college, so i have some familiarity with the mathematics discussed in the book, and some acquaintance with the history and philosophy of math. this book looks like a very carefully researched and written work, but that's just from glancing through it, not from a close reading. it looks like it will fill in a lot of gaps in my understanding.

as a ph.d. in EE i imagine you've studied DSP. that's an area that i wish i knew more about. do you recommend any text in it especially?

best,
peter
