Sobre mimReader, librarian, gardener, parent, wife, volunteer, cook, tai chi student, not in order of importance. I like crosswords and sudoku. I have a cat.

My LT user name, tardis, is not just a reference to the fact that I love Doctor Who, but because I believe a book is much bigger on the inside than the outside. There are whole worlds in books - you just have to open one and dive in...

Sobre a minha bibliotecaMy LibraryThing catalogue includes only things my family owns and more than just books - I also added videos and music cds.

If and when I ever use it, you get full credit. I wish I had said it.
"I believe a book is much bigger on the inside than the outside"

That's excellent, I really like it. If you don't mind, I'm going to use that in converstion.
Ah, got ahead of myself, I thought the festival was this past weekend. Hope you have a wonderful time and glad to hear you're okay. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the weather will cooperate :-)
Hi Jane, I'm just dropping in to make sure you're okay. It was the Edmonton music festival you were going to right? Not the one in Camrose? Those poor people!! So terrifying for everybody. You were the first person I thought of when I heard the news. Hope you had a wonderful time listening to Oyster Band and everybody else and that the weather cooperated where you were, no rogue winds!

Take care,
Katherine
Hi! I just had to greet someone who had such a great online handle. Plus, you like Terry Pratchett. What a swell lady! :D Have an awesome day.
Hi there. I've just bought The dark triangle by Hugh Walters and I see you have some of the series too. Just thought I'd say hi.
Yes, it is me - I haven't been on for a while. Just getting back into it.
Small world!

I just joined LibraryThing and added my first book. My next step was to follow the link to others with the same book and, of course, being a lover of Doctor Who I had to choose you first.

What are the chances I would find someone from my own home town? And with such great taste in books??

Nice way to start :) Thank you!
I saw that - I guess the books we have in common fit the "algorithm" the same way, or something, although you've done better snagging books than me. I really hope this book is better than her last book in the other series. I've enjoyed the other Grace and Favor books, but haven't read them all.
