Sobre mimI'm the author of 'Sons of Heaven,' a novel set during the Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989. It's a fictional account of that incredible picture we've all seen of the man who stood in front of the tanks.

My second novel, 'Deep in the Mountains,' is a young adult novel about a 15 year old Chinese boy from NY who spends a summer in Shanghai and befriends the famous Chinese painter, Zhu Qizhan. Find out more about the book and about Master Zhu on my website (book cover, video clips, etc.)

What I hope will be my third novel is going out on submission this summer: it is another historical fiction set during the Japanese occupation of China during the 1930's.
