Per your recommendation, among other reasons, I went and bought Curley's "Collected Works of Spinoza". As to when I get around to actually reading it, that's yet to be determined. Thanks.
No kidding, huh? I really struggle with calling a spade a spade. Hopefully next time I'll be more assertive in my opinions. ;-)
Welcome to LT. I enjoyed your ten books list at Freeque's salon, even if I liked My Name is Red a lot more than The White Castle and wouldn't put either on my top ten...

Looking forward to following your library.
Hi, I sadly haven’t read a book by Marion Zimmer Bradley yet, although I’ve seen the tv movie adaption of The Mists of Avalon but I know that really doesn’t count. I do highly recommend the Sevenwaters Trilogy by Juliet Marillier. The first book in the trilogy “Daughter of the Forest” is a retelling of the fairytale Wild Swans aka the Six Swans. Daughter of the Forest is one of the most beautiful retold classic fairytale that I’ve ever read. The fantasy aspect of the story in my opinion is light, even though there is a wicked step-mother with powers and a curse that turns the main character’s brother into swans.
