Sobre mimIn my mind, I'm 27 and a literate jock. In real life, I'm in my mid-forties, and a fat literate jock. I'm a Web Services Librarian. I am dominated by my four cats and one whippet, as well as my tumbledown 1905 Old Portland house. I pine to go back to school to be a transportation planner. I'm obsessed with bicycling, walking, human-powered transportation, scootering, DIY, queer and other politics, hand-built bikes, feminism, knitting, octopi, and slowing down. I almost exclusively read non-fiction.

I'm a cartographic thinker. I spend too much time on the computer.
