Sobre mimThough born in Maryland, W. D. Prescott grew up in Londonderry, NH. He dropped out of high school to start college early at Simon's Rock College, in Great Barrington, MA, in 2000. By 2002, he had his Associate of Arts and in 2004 he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Musical Theory & Composition.

He spent the next two years trying to make it in the real world. Unfortunately, it was the real world of Southern New Jersey, which he is absolutely certain is the kryptonite of anyone from New England. After working at Borders and a third person identity screening company, he graduated in 2008 with his Master of Arts from the innovative Writing Popular Fiction program at Seton Hill University.

Currently, he is working on the last revision of his first novel. He is also writing stories for future collections and anthologies when he not working on his novel. The first of these stories, "The Tethering," was published in Tainted: Tales of Terror and the Supernatural from Strange Publications.

Stories and music are his passion, so his other hobbies are usually related to it in some way. Whether it be reading anything he can grab his hands onto, composing electronic and classical music pieces, collecting comics, or enjoying TV, movies, video games, and music. He especially enjoys anything animated or from the 80's, if not both.

Sobre a minha bibliotecaI read...a lot. And I read almost everything. So as I continue to add books you will have a plethora of books to browse and see how faceted my personality is (I still find new ones). It's not a complete list of everything I've read as I lost some books through moving, younger books still packed away, friends still have books, and many are my dad's that I will probably inherit (so in about 30+ years my library could easily double). So these are one that are on my bookshelves, both read, unread, and started and never got to finish for various reasons.

Also, any books of mine or that I have contributed to will be tagged: w. d. prescott

Hello, Will! :-) Sorry that approval took a bit! I just got back here.

Take care,

Louise ~xox~
Hey, great review for Mystic Arts...

I've been loaning the book out, and people are loving it...even people who do not normally read or enjoy reading.
Thanks for the head's up on the SW book. I don't dare read any reviews because I'm SO FAR BEHIND in the series. God knows when I'll actually catch up, but you never know! :)
Cool. :)

TO SERVE AND SUBMIT? Oh, looking forward to THAT review. I haven't read it, but none of the reviews I read about it gave me any reason to want to. :-/
Understandable. I've got a billion books I need to catch up on myself, and yet, I still have this pesky habit of SPENDING. Argh! :)

Hey, let me know when you read GREYWALKER. I've gone back and forth over that one, and haven't quite been able to make myself pick it up.
Question for you: have you read, or do you plan to read, Rob Thurman's UF/Horror series? The first book is NIGHTLIFE. and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!
Only 19 more!

w00t!
I acknowledge your challenge, but I don't know if I'll be able to meet it. At least, if I pay any attention to our budget, I shouldn't. ;)
Writing Popular fiction - that's the program pioneered by Gary Braunbeck, no? I recently read Mary Sangiovanni's first Leisure publication. She is also a graduate of the program. Good stuff! Maybe you'll get published by Leisure too, when you graduate...
I think, should you ever publish a multi-million-selling tome o' horror, you should use this picture as your author snapshot.
