I'm writing because I noticed you have a book by Andrew Dornenburg in your library. I wanted to let you know that he'll be on LibraryThing for a few weeks (until December 5th), participating in an Author Chat. So stop on by and ask Andrew a question:

Andrew Dornenburg Author Chat
Judging by the number of books we share (on and off the reference shelf), I think you might like Iris Murdoch. Try "Under the Net," her first book, or "A Severed Head" if you're in a foul mood. And I second Rosalita -- I've been reading and recommending The Slot since ... 199tk?
I saw that we share an interest in boxing. I thought you might get a kick out of my book Virgin Gloves. It's unlike any boxing book you've ever read, I can guarantee it. It's viewable at Suburban Fiction.com
Former copy editor here who just wants to say I love your book, and your blog as well. Keep fighting the good fight!
That should be "wring in pront," of course . . .
I saw your listing, and went online to find out whether my local library has a copy of your book. They do. However, it has been entered into the system as follows:

Lapsing into a comma : a curmudgeon's guide to the many things that can go wring in print - and how to avoid them

That's really rather poetic...
