Has anyone heard about this new book trilogy that is supposed to come out this summer? The first book is supposedly called "The Passage" and its by Justin Cronin writing under a pseudonym. My writing professor is friends with him and as I understand it the first book is supposed to be released soon, but I haven't seen anything about it at all! It sold for quite a bit of money, and the movie rights have already been sold already, so I expected there to be a bit of buzz when it was released. The plot is something involving vampires, government conspiracy, viruses, and the apocalypse, which are a few of my favorite things so I am really pumped for this book, but, where is it? Has anyone heard anything about it?

No, I've heard nothing about it. Frankly, from your description, it sounds pretty bad, but who knows?

Vampires and apocalypse, sounds like someone wants to mix winning formulaic writing together and cash in on some quick bucks. As so often seems to happen, with that plan, you generally get drek.
