Hi
I am an English teacher working on my endorsement to teach gifted students. I am taking a course this summer that requires me to interview a gifted student, but it is the middle of summer, so I'm not in school, and I don't really know any gifted students.

If anyone could help me by answering these questions, it would be greatly appreciated.

1. What effect has being gifted had on you as you grow up? How would you compare your experiences to that of other people around you?

2.Does being gifted effect your school work? Does it effect your friendships?

3. What do you feel are your strongest talents? What do you feel are your greatest weaknesses?

4. What is your education like? How does being gifted come into play in your education?

The worse thing about being gifted is the jealousy that it evokes in lesser mortals. It's not my fault that you all can't burp the theme from "Jaws".

Live with it.

Shouldn't an English teacher know the difference between effect and affect?

Which definition of gifted are we going with here.... gifted as in talented, gifted as in what all mothers say about their children, or gifted as in the student was someone's birthday present?

How gifted? Child prodigy, or just someone who gets straight As and gets bragged on?
