I posted this earlier on Sunday with only one response. I know you are all super busy, but could you please spare 5 minutes to help with a survey?

Four library students from the University of Arizona need you help this week by participating in a short 8 question Web 2.0 survey about LibraryThing. Please go to the following surveymonkey link:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=tO....

and fill out the survey by November 15, 2009. We would really appreciate your participation

I gave it a go. I even went to your message which has a URL that works.

I filled in the survey, but it insists I choose a US state, and I don't live in one. So no response from this librarian, sadly.

A bit more specification on who you wanted to participate would have helped.

From your original post on the other thread, I thought you wanted people who were Library Science grad students to take the survey -- guess I didn't read it very carefully.

As post #2 mentions, you need to fix your link in this thread -- right now, it just takes you to the SurveyMonkey main page.

Unfortunately that link doesn't seem to work and if as TheBeerNut comments, it's limited to US states, then I'll have to pass. Limiting to the US fine, just make it clear that that's the case.

I just stuck a state in (not AL as i'm in Birmingham, UK!!) and put a note at the end that I'd done that...

Please post a link that works. I would be happy to fill out the survey if the link worked.

I filled it out the other day too, but as I'm in the UK I just picked a state and then explained that was what I'd done. Sorry if my response is unusable - might be an idea to let people know whether or not you only want people from the US?

Ok -- filled it out. :)

Done. Good luck.

Thank you so much for posting. At the last minute I added the geographic information to the study, but didn't really think about the consequences or those outside the US. (My first survey; my big learning curve!) Our assignment was to find out what the users of LibraryThing felt about it. I appreciate you efforts!

It was really great seeing the connections across the world. Thanks for helping us out.
