Book Alley has been in Pasadena for about 20 years that I am aware of. They started out in Old Town (in an alley), then moved about a block from Vromans main store. They moved to this present location - 1252 East Colorado - within the last year or so.

This is a fairly new shop (I think a musical instruments place used to be there). I stepped in for a few minutes the other day as I was walking by; they seemed to be still setting things up, but it looks very promising. I only had time to peruse their section of art books for a few minutes, and I found some pleasant surprises. I'm definitely going to be stopping by again when I have some time to seriously browse and check out the rest of their shop.
