For all things Austrian (think Popper, Wittgenstein, Doderer, Hofmannsthal, Zweig etc.) the friendly people at the Bildarchiv Austria, part of the Austrian National Library, have given permission to use their photo stock (>50,000 pictures) on LT.

Tim wrote: "It started when I wanted to fill in my photo for Christopher Faraone, a writer on ancient magic and professor at Chicago. Chicago has an "experts" sections, which tries to hook up professors with journalists and people who want talks on a given topic. Anyway, they said yes, and when I asked about the others they said we could take as many author photos as we want—a huge chunk of the Chicago faculty!"
