Some years ago, the truth of this book, my true identity in Jesus Christ, was very helpful to me. Freedom has come gradually, over the years, as I have grown to view myself, not with "self-esteem", but with "Christ-esteem". Personal worth and purpose is found only in the true and living God, maker of heaven and earth, as revealed through the redemptive life, work, crucifixion, death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
