![]() Nenhum(a) Ainda não há conversas na Discussão sobre este livro. At the behest of POTUS, our heroes Stone and Dino work a case in DC. The title is apropos, as everyone they touch gets dead. Interaction between Stone and Dino is always fun listening: "Well, this is Washington DC." This would have been a tough read without digesting the preceding books. In a side drama that relates not at all to the main theme, Teddy Fey gets a pass from Holly that will, likely, affect the continuing thread of his existence in the series. The who dun it reveal is at the end and nobody is contrite about it. ( ![]() After a shocking loss, Stone Barrington is at loose ends, unsure if he wants to stay in New York and continue his work as a partner at Woodman & Weld. It comes as a welcome relief when he's summoned to Washington, D.C., by President Will Lee. The president has a special operation that calls for Stone's unique skill set, and it's a mission that will reunite him with his former partner in crime and in bed, Holly Barker. Dino and Stone frolic, and frequently, in DC as two of the many good characters in search of a plot. Reads quickly and interestingly to a point of repetition, about halfway, then limps to the end. Not his best but it will fill an hour or so; much better than watching TV. Synopsis: Stone and Dino are asked by the President and Kate to look into a murder/suicide. What they find is that the man was having multiple affairs and it looks like he did not kill his wife. More murders occur and they all link back to the original murder. Teddy Fey appears, again and wrecks a small amount of havoc. Holly makes some strategic decisions about Teddy Fey and about the murders. Review: As always, interactions between Stone and Dino are fun. The answer to 'who done it' is fairly obvious early on, but the proving it was interesting. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
