Short and sweet

This book was just right for a lighthearted and sexy book before bed. I do wish, however, that the story had dug a little deeper in regards to get characters, both past, and in the present, to give them more depth. There was so much more potential for this couple. ( )

In Misadventures book one, Meredith Wild and Chelle Bliss teamed up to write about the Misadventures of a City Girl, and they rocked it out the park. I love both of these authors; they know how to bring a reader in and keep their attention.

Madison Atwood is dealing with a divorce from her cheating husband. Atwood left her Hollywood life of a makeup artist to go to a retreat. She hopes that leaving the city for a mountain retreat will help her get back on to her feet. At the retreat, Atwood runs into Luke Dawson. Dawson is a secluded Navy Seal with PTSD. He’s 6'7 and lives in a backwoods cabin near the retreat.

Their past damages both Atwood and Dawson. They must explain and share their complications. Sparks fly when they each catch the other pleasuring themselves. Then once the pair meets the work about pleasuring one another. It is just what everyone needs to get out of his or her head for a little while.

This is a steamy and sensual but well-written novel. Atwood and Dawson are very devoted, sweet, and sexy right off the bat.

I would recommend this to my friends. Can’t wait to see what Wild & Bliss come up with next! ( )

OMG. I truly enjoyed this novel. Madison is taking a break at a spa resort after her divorce from her cheating ex is finalized. She’s having semi private personal happy time (hey, she thought she was alone) but she is being watched by a SEXY mountain man. The chemistry between these two is great. I appreciate reading about the reason behind Luke’s self-prescribed isolation, unfortunately it is not uncommon. I found myself laughing out loud at times, I enjoyed this so much. Great start to series, I look forward to more. ( )
