All about the rat race and getting ahead and wondering if it's worth it. My copy is from 1972 and it has a definite '70s' feel (which is not a bad thing in this case). A high school teacher read it in class one day and I fell in love, buying my own copy some years later. All handwritten gives it a special 'loving' feel.
