Love the Twilight series of books with my favorite being the last (breaking dawn). ( )

I have to admit that once I began reading the Twilight series, I could not put it down -- just like all the young ladies in my middle-school English class, I just had to find out what would happen next... and next.

But I was constantly annoyed! Bella Swan is so dependent on Edward and Jacob she literally cannot live without one or the other taking care of her. I rolled my eyes as, time after time, she made terrible choices that endangered her and others as they were forced to rescue her. Even the romance becomes difficult to believe given that Edward is as cold as ice and hard as stone. The portrayal of her parents as incompetent saps may please the teens, but adult readers are bound to have trouble swallowing their characters.

And yet...I couldn't put it down. ( )

Vampires have taken over the entertainment industry, all beginning with one book: "Twilight". The four books that make up the saga tell the adventurous story of the innocent Bella Swan's true love for vampire Edward Cullen. Edward is a provocative character- the reader can't help but be jealous of Bella. The series takes one through the troubles of forbidden love, werewolves, the feared Volturi, and dangerous young vampires. These books are easily my favorite because of the escape they provide. Action and love intertwined make the saga exceptionally addictive. ( )

WoW!!! I hope she writes another set to this series. I couldn't put them down and neither could my 87 year old grandma. I would read one then she would read it while I was reading the next one, one right after another. ( )

I read the first book in the series that I borrowed from my daughter. I decided to get my own set. I enjoyed them because they are NOT like every other vampire book. It also shows that, like "Interview With a Vampire", not all vampires are bad. You hafta watch out for the other ones though!!
