This book challenges Heidegger's Being and Time and De Landa's A Thousand Years of Nonlinear History for the title of Most Incomprehensible book that I've read. It is difficult to find three consecutive sentences with an intelligible meaning in this one. I don't even know how to classify this mess, perhaps history of philosophy and sociology would be the best label since the author frequently mentions Plato, Aristotle, Descartes, Durkheim and Weber. But then again his strange interpretations of these classics made absolutely no sense to me. The arguments are so opaque that I don't have any idea what he was intending to communicate to his readers with this work. In the introduction the author writes "I could attempt to teach you to read the following work but such an effort would deny my argument". I think that twisted logic nicely sums up the entire book.… (mais)
