Andy, a comedian in the British circuit is well past his younger break out success in Edinburgh. Now 35 years old his performances are stale and even he is bored. He had a hot live in relationship with Jen, who left him after 4 years sharing a London flat that she primarily supported, Jen is tired of his neediness but that isn’t revealed till the end which is the best part of the book. A perfectly fine book. Something of a potato chip, but an easy fun and tiny bit moving story. The switch at the end to the other person in the breakup story was an interesting move that worked fairly well.
