This book isn’t one of those times.
How this book got published is an absolute mystery.
It spoofs the Frye festival- which was a total scam music festival designed to appeal to self absorbed, entitled narcissistic millennials held in the Caribbean
And then this book completely falls apart.
It isn’t funny, it isn’t interesting, not one character is anyone you would ever care about, and then instead of going down a Lord Of The Flies path and having the festival goers destroy each other, the author brings in a bizarre sea monster creature.
I think this was a children’s book it certainly seems like a 10 year old wrote it. It is written by someone who according to the book flap likes music festivals. Clearly she wishes she had gotten to witness the Frye festival first hand, but didn’t. the subject matter is dealt out with zero sex, violence, and drug taking. There is zero editing, and well it just isn’t worth reading.
Again I ask how did this book ever get published?… (mais)
