Críticas

This is an absolute must for any pianist or lover of piano music, containing what has been called "arguably the most resplendent creation of 19th century piano music". This refers to the Concerto for solo piano which is played so magnificently by the editor of this book, Marc-Andre Hamelin. The book also contains the Symphony for solo piano with its infamous "ride in hell" finale and the title work, a set of 23 increasingly bizarre variations on an original melody depicting Aesop's animals.
