Mostly focused on the Nebraska, Kansas, Wyoming, and Colorado, but the blizzard of 1949 was the largest to its time affecting much of the country in early January. Great fun! This book describes the "Blizzard of '49" It's a bit amateurish, jumping around and sometimes the stories of people's experiences overwhelm the bigger picture, but the event speaks for itself.
