This book is an instructional book of how to make various crafts for people that enjoy reading, holidays, astronomy, jewelry, baskets and other materials too. It gives the reader direct instructions and pictures to fallow along with materials that everyone may have in the center of their home. It was interesting to see that it gives options of what you can do with many objects that you have like toys you can donate them or share with others.

This is a cute story to get students ready for a spelling bee and to get them excited about participating. It's also a good story because it teaches the lesson that not everybody is going to win.

Summary: Abigail loves to spell and spells everything. She has many talents, but is the best at spelling. She decides to enter a spelling bee, but when she gets nervous she misspells a word. This discourages her from doing all of the things she loves. George her best friend becomes worried about her, and reassures her that she is still amazing.
