The concept is interesting. Setting: post-apocalyptic earth in near future.
A senator's son is sent to an underground bunker before the total annihilation of Washington D C. The child, Johnny, is required to keep a journal.
Almost a hundred years later, a new world has been created near the ruins of DC. A young man, Michael, is accused of theft and is sentenced to read Johnny's journals into a recorder which he is physically connected.
The story is well written. The characters are well developed. This is truly a fine effort by a young writer (age 21).… (mais)
