Good ideas, bad execution
The first chapter managed to deliver the same information, twice, with only a little bit deeper pass the second time. A heavy dose of French doesn’t really fit with a Chicago background. The correct word for a bishop is ‘eminence’ not ‘imminence’; he’s not about to happen, lol.
Totally failed to convince me that the MC is the only person who can do the job. He also didn’t act like he had been in a SuperMax prison for the last year.
This needs a strong editing pass to focus the story and get rid of some of the extraneous references.… (mais)
