Piglet's scared of Halloween, but Pooh talks him into sharing a totem pole costume so they can trick-or-treat together. It gets repetitive as they keep meeting scary figures that turn out to be their friends.

This was originally published in 1997 as a Little Golden Book entitled "Trick or Treat!" I own the 2001 Pictureback edition with the new title of "Pooh's Happy Halloween." The words are exactly the same as the original edition but some of the illustrations have been cropped and flipped, so be sure to get the original edition if you want the full picture.

Pooh has a day of exploration planned with Piglet, Roo and Eeyore. They're worried that rain might derail everything, but they figure out how to have fun with the mud and puddles.

It's not bad, actually, but it just didn't really grab me. Maybe more original humor and less earnestness would have helped.

A windy day has Piglet all up in his PTSD as he flashes back to a previous day when the wind whisked him far into the air while he was holding a balloon. But Pooh takes him round the Hundred-Acre Wood meeting all their friends one-by-one, with each one giving an example of why wind is good, all before a book-ending party of course.
