Main chatacter is male.
After he excttment of finding one dinasaur(in the last book) in the chalk pit another climbs out. This dinasaur is put to stay with the other under the command of the same boy. The Parish clerk still does not like them and they insist on eating his flowers. he feer that there is no way that he will be able to win best kept village
it's not to bad, but it did not manage to get under my skin at all.

Magic at Midnight was my first foray into the work of English children's author Phyllis Arkle, who is apparently best known for her series of books about the adventures of the "Railway Cat," and I found it charming. I don't know that I would expend great effort in seeking out other titles by the author, but I am glad to have happened upon this one.… (mais)
